11 months

I cannot believe that my little baby Ella is 11 months already! Time sure has flown by! Here's a comparison between my two girls at 11 months! They look NOTHING alike! (Yes, they have the same parents!) :o) They are basically following the same stats though.

Dear Ellabug,

You are an amazing 11 month old now! You have changed so much in the last few months! You have TWO teeth now!! You talk all the time and make silly noises. You wear a size 4 diaper, so does Hayden at 2 1/2! Makes buying diapers easy! You can stand for long periods of time but haven't taken steps yet. You have a lot less hair than Hayden had but you do have beautiful blond hair! You love to climb on everything, greeeeeaaaat. You love to play with your big sister and really love it when she lets you play! You weighed 19 lbs 10 oz last time you were weighed, but I don't know how tall you are. You still love your pacifier, but can go without it too. You just had your very first Christmas and enjoyed every minute of it! You're a handful to try to hold now, you are sooooo squirmy and can't wait to walk! You had your first earring issue this month and had a pretty raging earring infection, but we took you to Urgent Care and got you antibiotics and thankfully you got to keep your earrings in! I love you so much and can't wait to see what 1 year old holds for you!!

Christmas time

Well, I guess I've been bad about updating my blog. Thanks Georgia for pointing that out! :o) I've been really busy and also lazy. I've been so busy because I'm taking over a 2nd grade class when we come back from break! I'm just a LITTLE stressed about it since it looks like I'll be pretty much doing things on my own, unlike my wonderful first grade team. Hopefully I can go back to them if there's an opening next year....unless I just LOVE 2nd.... and who knows, that may happen.

Anywho... I've created a 2nd grade blog that you should all start following. Strait Shenanigans. You should all add my blog button to your blog to get it out in the blogosphere!

Ella had a bit of a crack issue before church.

9 and 28

Family Pics and a Big Girl Bed

On Saturday, October 15th, we met our friends Kate and Evan and their little man, Hudson up at Mt. Lemmon. Evan is a wonderful photographer and took this year's family pics for us! He got some A-MAZ-ING pictures of our beautiful girls!! I, on the other hand, do not like how I look at all. So, I've started the Paleo diet, Couch to 5K running program, and the Lindsay Brin Moms into Fitness workouts. Things have gotta change. Anyway, here's some beautiful pictures taken by the fabulous Evan Robold Photography.

Also, tonight is Hayden's FIRST night in her big girl bed! I not only had to lower Ella's bed, but completely took down Hayden's crib. She was so excited when I first put her big girl bed in there and got it out of our living room! When it was time for story time, she was a little unsure about staying in her bed, then by night-night time, she wasn't very happy at all. BUT, I told her she needed to stay in her bed, then we prayed and I laid her down like we've always done. It's been an hour now, and it's been quiet in there since I left. I'm giving her a little more time before I peek in! I'll do it when I give Ella her heart medicine at 9pm! Now's when I really wish we had a video monitor!

Catch-Up!

Whoops! Somehow I missed month 4 in my collages!

Ella Sophia is 5 months!

My sweet Ella Sophia is 5 months old! I know this is a little belated!

Ella Bug,

You are amazing. You are such a sweet little love bug. I can't believe How fast these 5 months have gone and you are already almost 6 months old! You are growing like a weed! You wear size 3-6 month clothes, size 2 diapers now, but I cloth diaper you most of the time. You love to jump in the Jumperoo. You also are eating solids now. You love peaches, pears, and apples, and aren't such a fan of peas or sweet potatoes yet. You love to be swaddled to sleep and will take 3 1/2 hour naps when you are swaddled! You usually wake up twice a night to eat. You go to bed at 7pm, eat around midnight, and then again around 5am. You are getting your heart medicine at 6am, 2pm, and 10pm. You can roll from belly to back, but haven't done back to belly yet. You really aren't a fan of tummy time and Hayden loves to be all over you when you are doing it, so you get frustrated! You just celebrated your first Fourth of July! You saw fireworks and a major monsoon storm! You talk so much and love to babble in the car! I am so in love with you and your smoochable baby-ness!

My Birthday Wish List

Well, at the very end of this month, the 31st to be exact, I turn 28. As of January at my "baby shower" I thought I was turning 27 this year. That was a big reality slap in the face. I blame pregnancy brain... or just not wanting to realize that I'm as old as I am. Sadly, I'm betting none of these will be in my arms this year, alas, I'm still in love.

This year my dream list is:

It's a little "Toddlers and Tiara's" but doesn't Ella look fabulous?! Hehe!

Two things I love

1. Having a sleeping baby to cuddle on my chest.

2. Watching a happy two year old snacking on a giant piece of watermelon.

The Evolution of Hayden Isabella

My sweet Hayden Isabella is two years old TODAY!! I can't believe that it's been two years since my world was changed forever! I am so blessed to have her in my life. She brings me such joy everyday. Even the days where the "terrible twos" are coming at me hard core! She is an amazing little girl and I can't wait to see what this year brings for her!
